About Melody Adventures

Melody Adventures is an English-language journal about music and the places around it. We follow city histories, street performances, the lives of musicians, and the small decisions that make listening part of a journey.

A place through its music

A city is not a single genre. A record is not only its most famous name. We are interested in the connections: a neighborhood and a scene, an instrument and the room it fills, a song and the landscape that becomes attached to it.

What we publish

The journal combines researched cultural introductions with original essays about listening and travel. Sources accompany factual city and artist pieces. Essays offer a point of view without pretending to be interviews or first-hand reporting.

Stay curious

You do not need a collector’s vocabulary or a musician’s training to start. A question, a few uninterrupted minutes, and a willingness to hear something unfamiliar are enough.
